The CSB XHRL12800WFTFR belongs to the XHRL-FT series and is a 12V front terminal valve-regulated lead-acid battery using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% and no maintenance required. Its front terminal design facilitates front wiring in cabinets, making it suitable for high-rate float standby applications such as data center uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
The battery has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 800W @ 15min-rate (10.02V per PCS @ 25°C). At 25°C, the 30-second 1.67 VPC power is 1831.17 W/cell, the 5-minute 1.67 VPC power is 1287.17 W/cell, and the 15-minute 1.67 VPC power is 821.50 W/cell. Maximum charge current 80.00 A, maximum discharge current 1660 A (5 seconds), short-circuit current 4570 A, internal resistance 2.17 mΩ.

The self-discharge rate is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, and it can be stored for 6 months; storage time can be extended if an equalizing charge is performed every 10 months; fully charge before use, and charge earlier if the storage temperature is above 25°C.
