Product details
The CSB XTV12200WTFR is a 12V valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the XTV-WT series, featuring pure lead construction with proprietary elements and absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, achieving gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%. It is designed for harsh environments such as wind turbines, with official applications in renewable energy. Its nominal capacity is 20Ah (20-hour rate, 1.75VPC, 25°C), with an 8-hour rate capacity of 18.4Ah (1.75VPC) or 18.0Ah (1.80VPC).
In terms of electrical performance, the battery has a maximum charge current of 6.0A, maximum discharge current of 230A, short-circuit current of 591A, and internal resistance of 12.2mΩ. Float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8Vdc (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0Vdc (25°C). The battery has a low self-discharge rate, retaining over 90% capacity after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and can be stored for up to 6 months, but requires a full charge before use; if storage temperature exceeds 25°C, recharge earlier.
The battery's design life is up to 12 years under float charge at 25°C, meeting the Eurobat long life standard (10/12 years at 20°C). Operating temperature range: nominal 25°C, discharge and charge from -20°C to 50°C, storage from -15°C to 40°C. Case material is flame-retardant ABS (94-V0). Terminal type is I1 threaded lead alloy terminal, accepting M5 bolts, with recommended torque of 3.0±0.6 N·m (30.4±6.1 Kgf·cm or 26.4±5.3 Lbf·in).
Battery dimensions are length 181.0±2.0mm, width 76.0±1.0mm, height 165.0±2.0mm, weight approximately 6.35kg (14.00 lbs). The product complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is certified to UL1989 (MH14533). Its maintenance-free design and efficient gas recombination make it suitable for renewable energy storage systems such as wind power, enabling stable operation in harsh environments.
