Product details
The CSB HR1224W belongs to the HR series and is a 12V Top Terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, achieving up to 99% gas recombination efficiency and requiring no maintenance during normal use. This series is positioned as a high-rate discharge pure lead battery series, aimed at UPS with lower output power and rapid-discharge standby applications, with the officially listed application area being data center uninterruptible power supply.
In terms of specifications, the HR1224W has a voltage of 12 Vdc, with a nominal capacity of 24W @15min-rate at 1.67 VPC, 25°C. Its 5-minute rate power is 54.8 W/cell and its 15-minute rate power is 27.0 W/cell, both based on 1.67 VPC, 25°C conditions. The battery's maximum charging current is 2.40 A, short-circuit current is 260 A, and internal resistance is 20.6 mΩ. The terminal type is F2-Faston Tab250.
In terms of dimensions, the HR1224W has a length of 150.9±2.0 mm, a width of 51.0±1.0 mm, a height of 98.6±1.0 mm, and a weight of 1.95 kg. The case material is ABS, compliant with UL 94-HB flame retardant rating, and a 94-V0 flame retardant case can also be provided upon request. In terms of design life, it can reach 5 years under 25°C float standby service, and 3 to 5 years under Eurobat standard 20°C conditions.
In terms of charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charging and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. In terms of self-discharge, capacity loss is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C it should be charged sooner.
This product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533). Its high-rate discharge characteristics and pure lead construction make it suitable for float service applications requiring rapid-discharge standby, such as data center UPS.
