Product details

The CSB XHT9000FT belongs to the XHT series of 12V front terminal valve-regulated lead-acid batteries, using absorbed glass mat (AGM) separators and a dedicated grid, with a gas recombination rate of 99%, and is a maintenance-free design. This series is positioned as a pure lead, high-temperature resistant VRLA battery series for critical power applications in harsh environments, with the official application area being data center uninterruptible power supply (Datacenter UPS). In terms of electrical parameters, the XHT9000FT has a voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 9000W @ 5min-rate (9.60V per PCS @ 25°C). The power per cell is 2069.83 W/cell (30 seconds 1.67 VPC @ 25°C), 1403.33 W/cell (5 minutes 1.67 VPC @ 25°C) and 907.67 W/cell (15 minutes 1.67 VPC @ 25°C). The maximum charging current is 75.00 A, the maximum discharge current is 1900 (5 seconds), the short-circuit current is 5102 A, and the internal resistance is 1.86 mΩ. The float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). Structurally, the battery uses a PC-ABS flame-retardant case material (UL 94-V0), with terminals being I2 thread lead alloy terminal to accept M6 bolt, and a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The dimensions are length 558.0±2.5 mm, width 126.0±1.5 mm, height 325.0±2.5 mm, and weight 71.1 kg (156.74 lb.). In terms of environmental adaptability, the operating temperature range is -40°C to 65°C for discharge, and -40°C to 65°C for both charge and storage. The design life is over 12 years at 25°C float charge, and up to 10 years at 35°C float charge. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, storage is possible for up to 6 months, and with equalizing charge up to 10 months; a full charge is required before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C, charging should be done in advance. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004, UL1989 (MH14533) and UL 1973 Recognized (MH66728).
