Product details
The CSB XHRL12360WG is a 12V valve-regulated lead-acid battery in the XHRL series. This series is positioned as a high-performance variant of HRL, delivering higher high-rate output for UPS and data center requirements. The battery uses absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, achieves gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free. The positive plate uses pure lead construction and proprietary elements, making it suitable for high-rate UPS float standby power applications.
In terms of electrical parameters, the XHRL12360WG has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 360W @ 15min-rate (10.02V per PCS @ 25°C). Its 5-minute power is 667.17 W/cell, and 15-minute power is 372.78 W/cell (1.67 VPC @ 25°C). Maximum charge current is 36.00 A, maximum discharge current is 800 A (5 seconds), short-circuit current is 2551 A, and internal resistance is 3.10 mΩ. Float charge voltage is 13.5 - 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 - 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C).
The battery terminal type is I2 thread lead alloy terminal to accept M6 bolt, with terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm / 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in / 5.1±1.0 N∙m. The case material is PP (UL 94 -HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. Dimensions are length 277.0±2.5 mm, width 168.5±2.0 mm, height 213.5±2.5 mm, and weight is 28.30 kg (62.37 lb).
For operating temperature, nominal temperature is 25°C (77°F), discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C (5°F to 122°F), and charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C (5°F to 104°F). Design life reaches up to 10 years at 25°C float standby service, meeting the Eurobat (20°C) 12+ years Very Long Life standard. For self-discharge, self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, storage is possible for up to 6 months, extendable to 10 months with equalizing charge; fully charge before use, and charge earlier if storage temperature is above 25°C.
This battery is manufactured to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). Its high-rate output characteristics make it suitable for float standby power applications such as data center UPS, providing reliable power support under high-rate discharge requirements.
