Product details
The CSB XHRL12410WG is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery belonging to the XHRL series, using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology to achieve up to 99% gas recombination, with a maintenance-free design. This series is the high-performance version of HRL, offering higher performance in high-rate output, with official application areas being data center uninterruptible power supplies.
In terms of power parameters, the XHRL12410WG has a 15-minute rate nominal capacity of 410W at 25°C and 10.02V per cell; at 25°C and 1.67VPC, the 5-minute power is 729.83 W/cell and the 15-minute power is 417.33 W/cell. The maximum charging current is 41.00 A, the maximum discharge current is 800 (5 seconds), the short-circuit current is 3171 A, and the internal resistance is 2.90 mΩ. These parameters can be used to evaluate its suitability for short-duration high-rate discharge applications.
The battery uses a pure lead structure and proprietary formulation, with I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, and terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, 5.1±1.0 N∙m. Dimensions are length 324.7±2.5 mm, width 169.0±2.0 mm, height 213.6±2.5 mm, weight 32.60 kg (71.85 lb). The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is also available on request.
Under 25°C float service conditions, the design life is up to 10 years; according to the Eurobat (20°C) standard, it is over 12 years of long life. The float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C.
For self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, can be stored for up to 6 months, and with equalizing charge can be extended to 10 months; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C, it should be charged sooner. The product is manufactured according to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and recognized by UL1989 (MH14533), suitable for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications.
