Product details

The CSB XTV121000 belongs to the XTV series, a 12V top terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery using AGM absorbed glass mat technology with gas recombination efficiency up to 99% and a pure lead construction. This series is aimed at telecom broadband applications and can be used in indoor and outdoor environments. The battery has a nominal capacity of 100Ah at 25°C (20-hour rate, 1.75VPC), 90.4Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75VPC, and 89.7Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80VPC, making it suitable for float standby power scenarios. In terms of electrical parameters, the XTV121000 has a float charge voltage of 13.5 to 13.8Vdc (25°C), an equalizing charge voltage of 14.4 to 15.0Vdc (25°C), a maximum charge current of 30A, a maximum discharge current of 800A, a short-circuit current of 2258A, and an internal resistance of 4.10mΩ. The battery has low self-discharge, retaining more than 90% capacity after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and can be stored for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use. If the storage temperature is above 25°C, recharge should be performed sooner. Structurally, the XTV121000 has dimensions of 308.7mm length, 169.0mm width, and 213.6mm height, and weighs approximately 30.20kg. The terminals are I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 5.1±1.0N·m. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version can also be provided upon request. The battery is manufactured to IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). Regarding operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage range is -15°C to 40°C. The design life is up to 12 years under 25°C float service, in line with the Eurobat long life (greater than 12 years at 20°C) positioning. The battery is maintenance-free, suitable for telecom and other float standby power applications, and maintains stable performance even in extreme temperature environments.
