The CSB XTV1272 belongs to the XTV series and is a 12V top terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery using AGM absorbed glass mat technology, achieving up to 99% gas recombination efficiency, and employing a pure lead construction. This series is aimed at telecom broadband applications, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments, and positioned for float standby power scenarios. In terms of capacity, the XTV1272 has a nominal capacity of 7.2Ah (1.75VPC @25°C, 20hr rate); at the 8-hour rate it is 6.72Ah (1.75VPC @25°C) and 6.56Ah (1.80VPC @25°C), and at the 20-hour rate it is 7.40Ah (1.75VPC @25°C). Its maximum charge current is 2.16A, maximum discharge current is 130A, short-circuit current is 305A, and internal resistance is 20.40mΩ. For charging and temperature conditions, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8Vdc, and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0Vdc. The nominal operating temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage range is -15°C to 40°C. For self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, can be stored for up to 6 months, requires a full charge before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C it should be charged sooner.
