Product details
The CSB XTV12800 belongs to the XTV series and is a 12V Top Terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery featuring AGM technology and pure lead construction. This series is aimed at telecom broadband applications and is suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. The battery has a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc, a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 80 Ah at 25°C and 1.75 VPC, an 8-hour rate capacity of 74.2 Ah, and an 8-hour rate capacity of 73.0 Ah at 1.80 VPC.
In terms of electrical performance, the XTV12800 has a maximum charge current of 24 A, a maximum discharge current of 800 A, a short-circuit current of 1917 A, and an internal resistance of 4.70 mΩ. Float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C). The terminal is an I2 thread lead alloy terminal that accepts an M6 bolt, with terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m.
The battery dimensions are 261.0±2.5 mm long, 168.5±2.0 mm wide, and 213.5±2.5 mm high, with a weight of 25.50 kg. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge and charge range is -20°C to 50°C, and the storage range is -15°C to 40°C.
The XTV12800 uses a valve-regulated sealed construction and AGM technology, with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, making it a maintenance-free battery. Its pure lead construction and proprietary formulation make it suitable for float standby power tasks in extreme temperature environments. In terms of design life, it can reach 12 years under 25°C float service, and greater than 12 years under the Eurobat (20°C) standard, placing it in the Very Long Life class. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is UL1989 Recognized (MH14533).
In terms of self-discharge, capacity loss is less than 10% after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months at 25°C; it must be fully charged before use, and if the storage temperature is above 25°C it should be charged sooner. With the above characteristics, the XTV12800 can be used for float standby power at telecom communication base stations, meeting the demand for long-life, maintenance-free batteries in indoor and outdoor broadband applications.
