Product details
The CSB XTV12550 belongs to the XTV series and is a 12V valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery using AGM technology and a pure lead construction, officially positioned as a VRLA pure lead series for telecom broadband applications, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments. At 25°C and 1.75 VPC, the battery has a nominal capacity of 55Ah at the 20-hour rate and 53.6Ah at the 8-hour rate; at 1.80 VPC, the 8-hour rate capacity is 52.3Ah.
In terms of electrical parameters, the XTV12550 has a float charge voltage of 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery (25°C), an equalizing charge voltage of 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery (25°C), a maximum charge current of 16.5A, a maximum discharge current of 300A, a short-circuit current of 1627A, and an internal resistance of 5.20 mΩ. These parameters provide a basis for charge and discharge management in telecom float standby applications.
The battery uses I2 threaded lead alloy terminals that accept M6 bolts, with a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf∙cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf∙in, or 5.1±1.0 N∙m. Dimensions are length 228.0±2.5mm, width 138.4±1.5mm, height 206.3±2.5mm, and weight approximately 17.90kg. The case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request.
In terms of environmental adaptability, the XTV12550 has a nominal operating temperature of 25°C, a discharge and charge range of -20°C to 50°C, and a storage range of -15°C to 40°C. Its design life can reach 12 years under 25°C float charge use, meeting the Eurobat long life standard classification of greater than 12 years at 20°C. For self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, can be stored for up to 6 months, requires a full charge before use, and should be charged earlier when storage temperature is above 25°C.
The battery is maintenance-free, with AGM technology achieving up to 99% gas recombination efficiency, designed specifically for float standby power applications in extreme temperature environments, and manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004, recognized by UL1989 (MH14533). These features make it suitable for occasions requiring long-term float standby power such as telecom communication.
