Product details

The CSB GPL12750 belongs to the GPL series and is a 12V top terminal valve-regulated sealed lead-acid battery, officially positioned for general-purpose applications as the extended-life version of the GP series aimed at longer service life. It adopts valve-regulated sealed lead-acid construction and absorbed glass mat AGM technology, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and with pure lead construction and proprietary element design, it is suitable for float standby power applications and is maintenance-free. The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). In terms of capacity, the GPL12750 has a 20-hour rate nominal capacity of 75Ah at 25°C and 1.75VPC, a measured 20-hour rate capacity of 80.80Ah, an 8-hour rate 1.75VPC capacity of 75.04Ah, and an 8-hour rate 1.80VPC capacity of 73.36Ah. Its maximum charging current is 22.50A, maximum discharge current is 800A, short-circuit current is 1933A, and internal resistance is 4.0 mΩ. Together these parameters describe the basic electrical characteristics of the battery in general-purpose standby power systems. Charging and temperature conditions are equally clear. At 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc/battery, and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc/battery. For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, discharge can be carried out from -15°C to 50°C, and charging and storage from -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge is less than 10% after 90 days, and it can be stored at 25°C for up to 6 months, requiring a full charge before use; if the storage temperature is above 25°C, it should be charged sooner. Structurally, the GPL12750's case material is PP (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant 94-V0 version can also be provided on request. The terminal is an I2 threaded lead alloy terminal that accepts an M6 bolt, with a terminal torque of 51.7±10.3 Kgf·cm, 44.9±9.0 Lbf·in or 5.10±1.0 N·m. Dimensions are length 261.0±2.5 mm, width 168.5±2.0 mm, height 213.5±2.5 mm, and weight 25.60 kg (56.42 lb). Design life can reach 10 years under 25°C float charge service, and more than 12 years under the Eurobat 20°C standard, placing it in the very long life category. Overall, the GPL12750 combines 12V voltage, 75Ah nominal capacity and AGM valve-regulated sealed technology, making it suitable for general-purpose float standby power applications. Its maintenance-free characteristics, pure lead construction, and clearly defined charging voltages and temperature ranges facilitate configuration and maintenance in standby power systems. In actual use, users should follow the float and equalizing charge voltages given in the data and pay attention to the effect of storage temperature on charging timing in order to maintain the battery's normal operating condition.
