Product details

The CSB XPL4700 belongs to the XPL series of high-capacity pure lead valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, featuring absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99% and a maintenance-free design. Its nominal voltage is 12V, and at 25°C and 9.60V per cell, the 5-minute rate power is 4700W. The battery terminal is an I2 threaded lead alloy terminal that accepts an M6 bolt, with a recommended torque of 5.1±1.0 N·m. This battery is designed for high-rate UPS and float standby power applications, suitable for data center uninterruptible power supply systems. Its 30-second, 5-minute and 15-minute power (1.67VPC, 25°C) are 1054.67 W/cell, 758.17 W/cell and 438.83 W/cell respectively. The maximum charging current is 39.20A, the maximum discharge current is 1050A, the short-circuit current is 2759A, and the internal resistance is 2.86 mΩ. The XPL4700 has a design life of up to 10 years at 25°C float conditions, meeting the Eurobat standard (20°C) long life requirement of greater than 12 years. The float charge voltage is 13.5-13.8 Vdc/cell (25°C), and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4-15.0 Vdc/cell (25°C). Operating temperature range: discharge -15°C to 50°C, charge/storage -15°C to 40°C, nominal temperature 25°C. The battery case is made of PP material (UL 94-HB), with an optional flame-retardant (94-V0) version. Dimensions are length 308.7±2.5 mm, width 169.0±2.0 mm, height 213.6±2.5 mm, and weight approximately 33.00 kg. The self-discharge rate is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, and it can be stored for up to 6 months, extendable to 10 months if stored at 25°C with supplementary charging; it must be fully charged before use. The product complies with IEC 60896-21/22:2004 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). The XPL4700 combines pure lead construction with proprietary elements to provide a reliable solution for long-duration standby applications requiring high-capacity batteries.
