Product details

The CSB GP1245 belongs to the GP series of general purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, featuring a 6V and 12V top terminal VRLA-AGM construction, with a nominal voltage of 12 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 4.5Ah at the 20-hour rate. This series is designed for a variety of applications including security, emergency lighting and medical equipment, and is suitable for standby power applications operating in float charge mode. In terms of capacity, the data gives 4.25 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75 VPC, 4.58 Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75 VPC, and 4.23 Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80 VPC, all referenced to 25°C. The maximum charging current is 1.35 A, the maximum discharge current is 90, the short-circuit current is 160 A, and the internal resistance is 37.7 mΩ. The terminal uses the F2 Faston Tab 250 type, the case material is ABS, UL 94-HB is standard, and a flame-retardant 94-V0 version is available on request. In terms of dimensions and weight, the battery length is 92.8±1.0 mm, width 69.9±1.0 mm, height 107.7±1.5 mm, and weight 1.66 kg. For charging parameters, at 25°C the float charge voltage is 13.5 to 13.8 Vdc, and the equalizing charge voltage is 14.4 to 15.0 Vdc. For operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage range is -15°C to 40°C. This battery uses valve-regulated sealed lead-acid design and absorbed glass mat technology, enabling gas recombination and maintenance-free operation, and is manufactured with pure lead construction and proprietary elements, produced in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and UL1989 recognized (MH14533). Design life can reach 5 years at 25°C in float standby service, and 3 to 5 years under the Eurobat 20°C standard commercial condition. For self-discharge, it is less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, can be stored for up to 6 months, requires a full charge before use, and should be charged sooner when storage temperature is above 25°C.
