Product details
The CSB GP6120 belongs to the GP series of general purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology, with a nominal voltage of 6 Vdc and a nominal capacity of 12 Ah (20-hour rate, 1.75 VPC @25°C). The battery is maintenance-free, with gas recombination efficiency up to 99%, and uses pure lead construction and proprietary elements, designed specifically for float standby power applications.
In terms of electrical parameters, the GP6120 has a capacity of 11.2 Ah at the 8-hour rate (1.75 VPC @25°C) and 11.0 Ah at the 8-hour rate (1.80 VPC @25°C). Maximum charge current is 3.60 A, maximum discharge current is 180 A, short-circuit current is 427 A, and internal resistance is 8.9 mΩ. Float charge voltage is 6.75 – 6.90 Vdc/cell (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 7.20 – 7.50 Vdc/cell (25°C).
The battery dimensions are length 151.0±2.0 mm, width 50.0±1.0 mm, height 100.5±1.5 mm, and weight approximately 1.85 kg. Terminal type is F2 Faston Tab 250. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant version (94-V0) is available upon request. Design life is up to 5 years in float service at 25°C, and 3-5 years per Eurobat (20°C).
The operating temperature range is: nominal 25°C, discharge -15°C to 50°C, charge/storage -15°C to 40°C. Self-discharge rate is low, less than 10% after 90 days at 25°C, and can be stored for up to 6 months; if storage temperature is above 25°C, recharge earlier, and the battery must be fully charged before use.
The battery complies with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is recognized by UL1989 (MH14533). Its general purpose design is suitable for float standby power scenarios such as security systems, emergency lighting and medical equipment.
