Product details
The CSB GP672 belongs to the GP series of general purpose valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries, using absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology with gas recombination efficiency of up to 99%, and is maintenance-free by design. Its nominal voltage is 6Vdc, nominal capacity is 7.2Ah (1.75VPC @25°C, 20hr-rate), with a capacity of 7.04Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.75VPC, 8.40Ah at the 20-hour rate at 1.75VPC, and 6.96Ah at the 8-hour rate at 1.80VPC. The battery uses pure lead construction and a proprietary formula, suitable for float standby power applications.
In terms of electrical parameters, the GP672 has a maximum charge current of 2.16A, maximum discharge current of 130A, short-circuit current of 259A, and internal resistance of 12.3mΩ. Float charge voltage is 6.75 to 6.90Vdc/battery (25°C), and equalizing charge voltage is 7.20 to 7.50Vdc/battery (25°C). The battery has low self-discharge, with less than 10% self-discharge after 90 days of storage at 25°C, and can be stored for up to 6 months; it must be fully charged before use; if storage temperature is above 25°C, it should be charged sooner.
Structurally, the GP672 has dimensions of length 151.0±2.0mm, width 34.0±1.0mm, height 100.7±1.5mm, weight approximately 1.22kg, and terminals of the F2 Faston Tab 250 type. The case material is ABS (UL 94-HB), and a flame-retardant (94-V0) version is available upon request. Regarding operating temperature, the nominal temperature is 25°C, the discharge temperature range is -15°C to 50°C, and the charge and storage temperature range is -15°C to 40°C. The design float life is up to 5 years at 25°C, and 3 to 5 years under the Eurobat (20°C) standard.
The product is manufactured in accordance with IEC 61056-1/2:2012 and is recognized under UL1989 (MH14533). The GP series is officially positioned as general purpose VRLA batteries, suitable for a variety of applications including security, emergency lighting and medical equipment. With 6V voltage and 7.2Ah capacity, the GP672 provides a maintenance-free battery option for applications requiring float standby power.
